World Gym San Diego is a great place to workout. It’s affordable, and the gym has plenty of equipment for you to use. I’ve been a member here for years now and I love it!
What is World gym San Diego?
World Gym is a gym franchise that was founded in 1976. Today, there are over 1,000 locations across the world and San Diego has 4 of them: Mira Mesa (my personal favorite), El Cajon, Chula Vista and San Marcos.
The owners of World Gym San Diego also own World Gym Las Vegas; both gyms share an owner/manager who lives in Las Vegas but oversees operations at both locations through satellite technology.
World Gym San Diego Positive Review
The World Gym located in UTC is a great place for people who enjoy getting a good workout! I’ve been going here since it opened many years ago and have seen many changes over time. There are many different areas within the facility where you can work out with friends or alone depending on your needs that day. The staff here is always friendly and helpful – even when they’re busy helping other members like myself with answers on how to use different machines or equipment properly
How many gyms are there?
There are two World Gyms in San Diego. The first is located in Point Loma, and the second is in Mira Mesa. Both gyms offer a full range of fitness classes, personal training sessions and group fitness classes. They also have a great pool for those who enjoy swimming laps or just relaxing by the water.
The membership fee for both locations is the same: $49 per month or $99 per month if you want to add access to some other amenities such as tanning beds or massage therapy services (which we highly recommend). You can sign up online using their website link below or call them directly at (619) 222-5200 if you have any questions about joining one of their locations!
How much does it cost?
World Gym San Diego offers many different types of memberships:
One Month Unlimited Membership – $45/month (plus tax) – this includes access to all areas of the club including cardio equipment and free weights
Six Months Unlimited Membership – $125/month (plus tax) – This is an amazing deal if you plan on working out at least 3 times per week or more!
One Year Unlimited Membership – $199/year (plus tax) – The best deal in town! You will pay less than $15 per month with no hidden fees or contracts to sign!
Who can get a membership here?
You can join World Gym San Diego if you are 18 years or older and have a valid ID. If you’re not a US citizen, permanent resident (green card holder) or work visa holder, then we recommend that you check with your local gym to see if they’ll accept foreigners as members.
If you’re wondering what kind of people go here, we’ve got some answers: they come in all shapes, sizes and ages–from young adults just starting out on their fitness journey to retirees who want to stay active as they age into their golden years.
Where are they located?
World Gym San Diego is located in the heart of Mission Valley, a shopping and entertainment district in San Diego. It’s just south of Qualcomm Stadium and across the street from Fashion Valley Mall. The gym is easy to get to by car or public transportation, with plenty of parking available nearby. Address: 2949 Garnet Ave, San Diego, CA 92109, United States

When is the best time to go to World Gym San Diego?
If you have a busy schedule, the best time to go is during the day. This is because most people are at work or school during this time and there will be less of a crowd. However, if you’re looking for more of an intense workout session and want to get in some cardio training then going after work would be better than during lunch break or on weekends where everyone else has free time.
The best day of the week depends on what kind of person you are and how much time you have available in your schedule. If your goal is weight loss then Monday-Thursday would be ideal since these days provide plenty of opportunities for working out due to most people being off from work/school/etc., but they also give us enough rest so our bodies don’t become too exhausted from doing too much too soon (which can lead into injury).
World Gym San Diego is a great place to get in shape, and it’s affordable too!
World Gym is a great place to get in shape, and it’s affordable too!
If you’re looking for a gym that has all the equipment you need, World Gym San Diego will definitely fit the bill. There are plenty of machines and free weights available, as well as classes like yoga and spin class. The facility itself is clean and well maintained, with helpful staff members who will answer any questions you might have about working out or using any of their machines.
The best part about this gym though? It’s affordable! You can join for less than $50 per month (or even pay month-to-month), which means that no matter what your budget looks like there’s nothing stopping you from trying out this awesome place today!
Pros and Cons
World gym is a fitness center that provides some of the best workout options for its members. However, there are many other gyms in the area that offer similar services. So does World Gym have what it takes to keep you coming back?
World gym reviews are mixed. Some people love it, and others hate it. Here are some pros and cons of joining World Gym:
Pros:
- Variety of equipment – This is one of the biggest pros of joining World Gym. They have a ton of different equipment, including free weights, machines and cardio equipment. You can do pretty much any workout routine at this gym!
-
It’s cheap – World Gym offers cheap membership plans that are less than $10 per month! If you’re interested in trying them out, I recommend signing up for one month before committing to anything longer term. That way if you don’t like it or find another gym you like better after 30 days, you’re not stuck paying for something you don’t use anymore!
-
Good location – The location is great if you live near downtown San Diego because it’s right next to Petco Park (which is where all the Padres games are played). It’s also close to many restaurants and bars so you can grab
Cons:
- The prices at World Gym are higher than other gyms in San Diego but they offer a wide variety of classes which can help offset some of these costs if you take advantage of them often enough.
Conclusion
If you’re looking for a place to get in shape, World Gym San Diego is a great option. It’s affordable, and it has everything you need for a workout. I would recommend this gym to anyone who wants something different than what they have been doing before!
